Can You Hear Them Screaming?

I sure still can. Actually the whole place is still ringing in my ears.

Last night we went to take some night photos at the Dixie Classic Fair. I took some fireworks shots, those are coming a bit later, whenever I get around to them. After finishing with fireworks we walked around and watched people getting crazy on all kind of different rides, people shooting paintball gun at the live targets, literally, there is a guy running behind the barrels and you can shoot at him. People fishing for some bottles, throwing basketballs, eating all kind of deep fried and sweet over sugary food. If you ever been to a country fair, you know what I’m talking about. We walked around this ride and tried to figure out good angle. Every empty place between rides and games is filled with food courts, place is packed with so many people. Not an easy task to get a good angle and safe place for a few minutes to take a photo.

I think it shows the mood of the place.

Miss Miami

New Years eve in Miami does not look like a New Years eve at all. it was my first New Years eve close to tropical territory and it was nice and weird. This was the last glimpse of sun in 2010. The same night I took my first fireworks photo. btw, tonight we are going to check out Dixie Classic fair and try to take some fireworks photos.

I was taking pictures from the docks  close to the water. Apparently I was breaking all kind dock rules. Security showed up and asked me to get on the other side of the fence, which is like only 4-5 fit away from the edge of the water but the view from that far away is completely different. Thankfully I got this one before mister security showed up in his little golf cart.

Sunset Watchers

People like to watch sunsets, some are good and some not. I like how this one came out.

We went to Flamingo in Everglades to see some wild live, crocodiles, birds and what else suppose to be down there. We even went on a long hike to the Bear lake, in hopes to see something. Water around there was standing and stank like old spoiled eggs. We saw some bugs and other flying little creatures. But not a single crocodile or a cool looking bird. Barely made back to the shore to see sunset. I actually was not super happy about it. In fact it took me almost nine month to get back into that folder and process couple pictures. But, it is probably for the good. Meanwhile I learned couple extra tricks in post processing and tried to pull the best out from this one.

Key Bridge Sunset

This photo was taken on the same bike ride when I took the US Capitol photo and then got soaked wet in the rain. I guess you can see that there was a potential for some rain on the horizon. I believed (again) weather man who said that it will go around DC. Anyway, I had to take a few shots to get airplane into the frame, they were coming down every few minutes, some small, some bit bigger. Depending on their size they had slightly different trajectory on their descent. I missed a big Airbus or Boeing, it was going nice and low, maybe some other day.
