Mt Elbert

Mt Elbert 14,438’, highest mountain in Colorado. Taken from Mt Massive 14,427’. Late August 2021.

Notice two trail runners… they ran up to the summit, we chatted and then they darted back down. Mt Massive is good for it.

Mount Massive

View of Mount Massive, 14,421’, from the Mount Elbert, 14,433’, the top of Colorado and second highest peak in the continental USA.

Took this picture about ten month ago in August of 2021. Sunrise time at the top of the local world is the best time to be there. Itching to get a few more under my belt this season as well.

Happy hiking!

This photo is definitely better viewed on the large screen. Check it in high resolution in my print gallery.
