They were made by the same maker. Long time ago they looked the same. Over many years each developed its own personality adopted from the people it provided its shelter. What would they look like 10 years from now?

Window to Nowhere
Previous two posts had some windows in it so I decided to dedicate at least two more more posts with some type of windows in it.
I really like these over burned breaks they used to shut this window. We spent only 2.5 days in Urumqi, with one of them being away in Turpan, so we tried to walk around the city when we could and see different sites. I saw this window on one of the main roads, not too far from our hotel. Pretty cool.
Pretty Knifes to cut some Lamb
International Grand Bazaar is a must visit if you happen to be in Urumqi. A lot of cool stuff, interesting people and it just so different than anything else. Today’s photo is of knife stand. There were many of them, so if you don’t like one of these knifes you can find something different at another stand. I like the big one, top, right corner.
