Greenwich Sunrise

It was storming all over east coast today. Tornado warnings in many cities and counties. Nature has its own way with us. Nothing like this nice and chilly morning. Of course it does not look cold at all, but it was around 28F at that moment.

Low Tide

It snowed the night before so we have perfect demarcation line of how high water gets during high tide. Nice. Check this image via higher resolution by clicking on it.

Winter Rest

Waiting for some warmer times. And thankfully right now in NC we have some pretty darn nice weather, nothing like what is shown in this photo. I spent most of the day today doing some yard and landscaping work, this is that time of the year, making it all pretty.

Winter Rest

After taking a few sunrise photos at Greenwich Point Park in Stamford CT I decided to check what else they have at this park and drove to its western part. Because of winter and pretty darn early on a Saturday morning (this about 7:30AM), there was no one around there. I bet it gets really crowded here during the summer. Anyway, I parked near the Yacht Club and walked around. There was a huge area with kayaks resting for the winter, waiting some action. It snowed the night before with about inch or so of fresh powder, was quiet and peaceful. The light pink and light green kayaks were just too nice to miss, almost like a couple, they are waiting for some warm weather to come alive and have some fun.
