St Augustine is a cool little city on the northern part of the Florida Atlantic coast. It is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) cities in the United States. As you might guess, the photo was taken sometime around Christmas time, but it is south enough for palm trees to be happy green. We were there on for couple days to see what its all about and take a few photos, with early morning being the most deserted.

Friday Mystery Photo
Looks like about a full moon on a clear night in this cool little city. It is pretty old and very historic as evident from the shown fort. I already posted a few photos from this place in the past, so it is probably fairly easy to figure out where it, just be browsing through 800+ of the posted photos… unless you just know where it is.
Where is it?
Weekend Update: Yep, it is in St Augustine, Florida. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument. Too many of you got it right, so I’m not going to list you here. You know who you are. Thanks for stopping by!
Mega City
High Alert
He was watching me as I walked closer and closer taking photos, trying to get rising sun right behind it. I wanted to see how it would look later with some processing done to it. It took me two and half years to get to this image and try make it work. It was taken somewhere on the way to the Key West, on one of the islands, but I have no idea exactly where, if any of you recognize this little island please let me know the coordinates so I can geo tag it.
