Sunset Cruise

Honestly I can’t remember where I took this photo. It is one of these two places: Key West or Biscayne Bay Miami. I took it just about one year ago on our vacation in south Florida. We drove down from Miami to Key West for Christmas and returned back to Miami on our way to the Marco Island. I took a lot of photos during that vacation, so sometimes it might get confusing, what is where.

Thanks folks for visiting and viewing my photography. Your comments are appreciated. If you haven’t figured it out yet, you can click on the photo and it will open in my photo gallery where I have the same image but at a higher resolution. So if you have a big monitor, you might enjoy it better than the small one below.

BTW, I did not plan it, but just realized that yesterday’s photo and today’s photo are on diagonally opposite points. Nothing significant about it, but still kind of interesting that I processed them in this order.

After taking last week off from work I’m now ready for a longer vacation. Somewhere warm would be nice. Like maybe this place on Marco Island. I’m not sure if I go there again, I’d like to see something new, but you get the drift.

Infinity Path

It feels like for sure. You can’t see the end of it and it probably takes 10-15 minutes to walk the entire length of this pier. At the other end there were only two people, a couple. They were fishing. I asked if they got anything, not yet he replied – only a crab. They were from Atlanta, currently coming back from Miami and stopping half way for some break. He said that they do this trip to Miami and back every year. Every year they try to stop somewhere midway and his goal is to catch one fish. We stayed there for another 5 or so minutes, enjoying the view. When we left he still didn’t have a catch. I hope he did. It is nice to have little traditions.

Swim at Your Own Risk

Very lovely shoreline, isn’t it? I don’t think anyone ever swims here, so it does not introduce real problem for little kids jumping out of the waves on concrete pols and breaking their legs. At the same time what the hell is it doing here?

This is down in Flamingo Florida. The same place as I took this photo Sunset Watchers.

Miss Miami

New Years eve in Miami does not look like a New Years eve at all. it was my first New Years eve close to tropical territory and it was nice and weird. This was the last glimpse of sun in 2010. The same night I took my first fireworks photo. btw, tonight we are going to check out Dixie Classic fair and try to take some fireworks photos.

I was taking pictures from the docks  close to the water. Apparently I was breaking all kind dock rules. Security showed up and asked me to get on the other side of the fence, which is like only 4-5 fit away from the edge of the water but the view from that far away is completely different. Thankfully I got this one before mister security showed up in his little golf cart.
