I had only a few minutes to take this photo, they were shutting the gate and we had to get out from the lighthouse area. You can’t see from here but I was positioned right next to the fence on the rocks and could not move a single each farther away from it. Thankfully I had wide angle lens on the camera and it was able to fit the whole thing into it. You probably saw couple other images of this lighthouse, check them out under Miami category.
Key West sunset. Super windy and cold evening, but nerveless it was very nice one.
The sun is actually behind me in this photo, shining strong on the white walls of this light house with almost like burning bright reflections over the side walk. We probably had extra five minutes at this place before they closed the gates. I wonder if you can take picture there in the summer as sunset will be much later and they might not stay open that late.
I can’t remember the name of this place, we walked through it a few times, mainly during busy times. This was taken in early morning before it was opened.
These birdies were enjoying sunset together with me. Big storm just passed through Marco Island, with plenty of food on the shore. I think they came there for some feast. I didn’t see them again during our 3 days stay in that place. I can’t remember from which direction the wind was blowing, I don’t think it was from the north, but they all facing north, I guess they had their reason to look that way.
