Behind the Glass

Winter is Coming

Raining it is, east coast is under nasty uncomfortable cold rain with some ice and snow. Yick! I guess it is the beginning of the winter.

Looks Like Peace

Looks like the middle line is the repeat of the word “peace”, is it right? I wonder if other lines have the same but in other languages. Or am I completely imagining it? We got to have some all things Parisian experts visiting here, who would know exactly what it is saying.

City of Light

No one guessed where I took photo shown on the previous post. Well, it was taken at this city, recognize it?

Of course, it is Paris. City of Light. Not because it has a lot of lights, but because it has a lot of enlightening, not just now but over its long history.

What we see here is the entire length of the Avenue des Champs Elysees, starting at Place de la Concorde and ending at Arc de Triomphe. I had late lunch or early dinner way there on the left side closer to the Arc de Triomphe, then made my way to this spot where I spent a few minutes taking some photos before walking to the Louvre. Paris is awesome. Probably one of the coolest places I have ever had a chance to visit.

Friday Mystery Photo

TGF! I’m happy it is finally here and weekend is just a few hours away. Can’t wait.

Since last night we had a Halloween, the photo of the cemetery felt appropriate for today.  Not just any cemetery, but one with a long history. This is the first photo on my blog from this specific geographical location. I think there will be a few others in the future as it is super photogenic place. I wish I had a few more days to explorer it. I think my wife will make sure I visit it again, only next time it will be with her.

What is the name of this cemetery?

Saturday Update: No correct answers this time. Nope. This is the center intersection in Montparnasse Cemetery in Paris.
