I took this photo on one of the hikes in NC mountains. It is about one hour north from Asheville, off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I was doing a short time lapse of the moving clouds and taking still photos of them as well. This is one of the still ones. I have yet to assemble the time lapse segments into one continuous clip. I’m on a business trip in Michigan at the moment with 20F temperatures outdoors and some snow on the ground, cold. I thought that posting this photo and then checking it once or twice the next day (that is today) would warm me up a bit and remind about nicer days in late summer. One of those magic days at Biltmore Estate.
Took this one couple years ago right about this time. I should probably visit it right now and see if the gardens and pools look this spectacular again. Maybe couple weeks from now. Have a great weekend!
US Open is back in town, since it is right here on the east coast, they play all of the interesting matches in the evening. So the Burning Man is happening in Nevada right now, something would be really cool to visit and do some photography, not sure if I ever venture to it though, hmm, maybe I should plan it for next year year after. They got rained in yesterday, which is extremely unusual for that that place. Rain in the desert might bring out some flowers, have to see for some photos from the folks who is currently there for any interesting and weird stuff.

Yesterday I was trying to remember when last time I went to the beach, and could not really remember the most recent time. Especially when I went there to swim. Not this year. Not last year. Hmm, seems like its been a while.
