Morning gymnastics

As we watched the sunrise over the Mediterranean and as I was taking some photos, older man walked over to the end of the pier and started doing some morning exercises. As soon as I saw his routine I knew that he grew up in Soviet Union. Even so he was Asian looking, my guess Kazakh, he had those specific poses and stretches that were part of any morning exercise in that part of the world.  And of course, his swim trunks is another give away.

Isn’t it interesting how certain cultural traditions will allow us to spot people and identify their origins without ever talking to them.

Ahh, last day of August… summer is getting to its end… hopefully the heat will be disappearing soon as well.

Vacation Destination–Antalya

Although we spent only half a day in Antalya itself, it is the place I’d like to visit again. I mean, judge it for yourself, pretty awesome if you ask me. After taking this photo we made our way to a restaurant that seats on the cliff right above the beach. I must say that I enjoyed the view down below while sipping some beer and eating shishkabubs.

I did very little post processing to this photo. On a beautiful day, at a beautiful place like this no post processing is required. Pretty much straight out from the camera for your viewing pleasure. And if you want to see it in high resolution all you need to do is click on it.

Blue Sunrise

After witnessing one of the sunrises on the Mediterranean we were walking back to our hotel and decided to check how main pool looks at this early hour. I liked what I saw. Pretty much every guest is still sleeping at this early hour and this pool looked so nice and peaceful, with sun sneaking out, indicating a hot day ahead. In a few hours it will be packed with adults and kids, swimming, drinking at that bar and who knows what else doing in this pool, hehe. We spent our time at the beach, swimming in nice Mediterranean sea.
