Unless you have been to this small shopping building I would not expect you to know it, so chances are very slim for anyone to know where it is, but you never know, maybe, just maybe one of you my great visitors actually been to this place. Also if you are investigative enough and have laser sharp eyes then you might be able to figure it out just by looking at this photo as well. Who’s first?

Saturday Update: A few very good guesses! All of those places probably have similar shopping centers, but this one happens to be in downtown Asheville North Carolina. This was one of the first photos I took with D800 about twelve months ago on one of my visits to Asheville. The amount of detail this camera provides is really incredible.

Biltmore Visitors

Biltmore Estate and the house attracts a lot of visitors, and it provides very nice background for some nice family photos. Last year we purchased an annual pass and were able to visit it many times. I was hoping to catch it sometime with the snow during this winter but that never happened, I think mainly to the luck of snow in Asheville or my inability to get there when they had some snow. The funny part is that we never actually stepped into the house yet. I was inside the house about 15 years ago and it was pretty cool, but since they do not allow photography inside of it, I didn’t make into it during last year. We’ll probably do it sometime later this year if we decide to renew our passes.

A little self portrait from downtown Asheville North Carolina. Does anyone knows this bar? I can’t remember the name, but it is the one with the balcony on the top floor and beautiful sunset views over smoky mountains. Nice place to have beer, wine or some martini.
