Quick hike up to Red Rocks before dinner. I like how the first Flat Iron get hit by the setting sun, it is even more profound in the summer, but not too bad at this time of the year. The wind have been nonstop over the last couple days and another storm is coming overnight. Currently around 55F should drop below 30 by early morning and probably some wet snow as well. Gotta love Colorado!

After two days of nonstop rain we finally got this lovely Friday evening. Indian Peaks were covered in clouds, didn’t take any pics, but Flat Irons were as lovely as ever.
Of course this is also the time for tulips in my own backyard. They are quite lovely as well.
Fresh snow day in the front range (just a few days back). A nice spot to see both Boulder and Longs Peak. You would think that Longs Peak is just seating above Boulder, but you can’t see it from Boulder… as soon as you go down into the valley, those front range hills block it entirely.
