Rainbow Effect

Last weekend we were in Boston area visiting my daughter, it was parents weekend. On Saturday we drove up from Boston along the coast and stopped at a few locations to enjoy the views and take some photos.

Couple hours before sunset we made our way to Manchester little harbor, I was going to take a few photos of the boats and use some rest facilities. Then we saw this up in the sky. Incredible array of rainbows. I have never seen so many rainbows and some pretty cool light effects in the sky. Nice show of illumination before the storm.

How many rainbows do you see?

Good Morning Charleston

Did I already say somewhere that Charleston is awesome?  Couple weeks ago we scored great deal at Mills House hotel in historic downtown, only a few minutes walk to the Battery Street. So naturally, I dragged my lovely wife out of bed for some sunrise photos. She doesn’t mind, she likes to get up early. It was a start to a very nice day, I wish we had more days like this down there. We both agreed that it would be a good place to live.

Natasha Resting

Yachts resting in Boston harbor. They cover them in plastic for the entire winter to rest, not sure when they do this, my guess sometime in October-November time frame and probably open them up sometime in April-May. The big one is named “Natasha”, I imagine that it is named by some Boston based Russian super rich after his mistress, or something like that. In reality it is probably much more mundane. Anyway, this was taken in early January about hour or so before sunset. It snowed a few hours before and I believe it snowed a bit after this, but we had a few hours of clearing with clouds moving and sun nicely lighting them up.
