Well, it is late night and I’m super tired, but wanted to share this photo from San Francisco that I took about eighteen month ago.

La Perla
La Perla is the neighborhood in the old San Juan, right outside the city walls, next to the the Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery. Supposedly it is the center of all kind of organized crime activities, such as drug trade and arms dealing. We didn’t go into it, so I didn’t observe any arm dealings first hand. While it looks really colorful from this angle, if you walk along the high side, it does look somewhat run down, which is why it probably attracts all kind of questionable element.

On the Locks of the Mississippi
My wife use to walk over this bridge every day when she was attending University of Minnesota. On our most recent trip to Minneapolis to visit friends she made sure we made a late night stop to take some photos. She is always thinking of me!
Behind the Curtain
Over weekend we went to see friends in Minneapolis and took a quick ride over to Wisconsin to get another state under my belt. Yep, one more, so far pretty good progress this year, and it isn’t even over yet.
This nice waterfall is located in Osceola and you can walk behind it, pretty cool.
The Basin
I’m on the roll here. Not with posting much, that is far away from being on the roll, as I’ve been slacking in that department. But I’m on the roll with posting the third straight photo from a new state. I’m on the roll to get all of them under the belt, hehe, time is pressing.
This is “The Basin” in the Franconia Notch State Park in New Hampshire. The cool thing about Pemigewasset River is that part of the park is that it is carved its way in the solid slab of rock. Very cool, I haven’t seen waterfalls like this on the East coast in the past.
