If you were wondering what is title photo of the video, now you will know that far in background is the Thacher Island and those two little towers are lighthouses on the island. I took this photo right across from our hotel where we spent the night. Lovely place, I think it is called Bass Rocks Ocean Inn.
And we are going back the the East coast. If you follow it over the last few days then you probably noticed that its been all bridges, different bridges. This one is crossing Charles River in Boston.
I stayed not far from this bridge back in October and decided to take late evening walk and see what I might find. I’m glad that I ventured out and explored this part of Boston. If you are ever there, you should too.

I took this photo and the above time lapse movie about ten hours before hurricane Sandy hit the east coast back a few month ago. Couple days ago they got hit by the winter storm Nemo and got a few feet of snow. I wonder what this spot looks like at the moment right after the storm. Probably all snowy and icy, probably very cool looking.
Weather here on the east coast have been pretty much weird. Last week I was asking for some warmer days, well, I got my wish, but it should not be that way here in the mid January. As far as I’m concerned the winter is yet to arrive to North Carolina and we are half way through it. March will be around here in about six weeks. We have daffodils coming out like it is early March, just about two month early.
Since winter is yet to arrive, I felt it would be appropriate to post one of the Fall photos at this time. Of course there is no colors anymore, everything is grey at the moment, but unless we get some cold front(s) this whole thing will just transition into the Spring, with no winter.

This video and all photos were taken one day before Sandy arrived on the East coast. We stayed over in Rockport the night before, went to bed with clear skies, at sunrise there was wind and fast moving clouds, but nothing crazy yet. After lunch we flew down to Washington DC on one of the last flights. Everything was canceled for the next 3 days as Sandy took over NJ, NY and a few other states.
