New York–Looking North

After I took “Times Square Reflections” photo I had to go back to hotel and change my shoes, they were soaked wet. When I went back out the rain stopped and most of the clouds were blown away. I decided to walk down the Broadway and see a bit of the city. When I came up to the Empire State Building I decided to check if they are still open, if was around 10PM – they were open! Up on the observation deck the wind was so intense and cold, not much fun to be there, forget about taking leisure photos. Their security does not allow tripods all the way up so I had to shoot it all handheld. Thankfully it was possible to prep camera against the walls and other stable objects and eliminate the shake.

Today’s photo is looking north west from the Empire State Building. BTW, photo like this is better viewed in higher resolution, just click on it to see it large.

Grand Central Terminal

My schedule been a bit hectic in the last week and I did not spend much time online. It should get to fairly normal now and I should be able to respond to comments in a more timely fashion and post more photos.

I was coming back from China Town back to the Times Square area and decided to stop by the Grand Central Station and see what it looks like inside. I was very surprised and pleased with what I saw there. See if for your self.

Times Square Reflections

It was pouring rain in NYC when I showed up at the Times Square, my shoes got soaked wet in about five minutes, but I was hoping to get some interesting shots of this famous place with some cool reflections. It is probably the busiest place in USA, the crowds never stop, morning or midnight. This rain actually helped with pushing most of them into the stores and off the street. The place is amazing!!!
