Evaporation Ponds

La Sal mountain range reflection in the solar evaporation pond (Potash Ponds) near Moab Utah. I took this road from Moab back to the Dead Horse Point State Park. 4wd is highly recommended as there were a few rough spots and took me probably two and half hours, with a few stops.

B&W

Grey & snowy morning deserve a B&W photo. Day started with beautiful sunrise (which I didn’t capture) from my bedroom window and turned into wet snow. Boulder Creek can be moody in such conditions and was my destination to take the dog for a quick walk.

Another Shadow

Last photo showed sunset shadow at the 3rd highest mountain in Colorado. Following up today with another shadow, but this time it is sunrise shadow. Some of you might know where it is, by recognizing this landscape…

Well, it was taken from the summit of Uncompahgre Peak, in beautiful San Juan Mountains.

Mt Shavano Sunrise

What do you think about this one? Pretty epic, if you ask me!

Sunrise, Sunrise…

Pink hot sunrise at 14,000’+ elevation. Grays and Torreys Peaks in all its glory.
