It looks a bit bleak, barren….
wonderful atmosphere
To me it seems cold but because the white sand looks to me like snow, I am more used to more golden sand.
We were there many, many years ago, just a quick “stop and see” on a road trip to New Orleans. It was mostly desolate on the western side, and HOT, really, really HOT. M
The atmosfhere let me thinking at White Sands.
Amazing atmosphere, like it very much, it looks wind swept and cool, but there is something serene about this landscape.
In fact it does.. But Dauphin Island is awesome in all conditions.
