Rainbow Effect

Last weekend we were in Boston area visiting my daughter, it was parents weekend. On Saturday we drove up from Boston along the coast and stopped at a few locations to enjoy the views and take some photos.

Couple hours before sunset we made our way to Manchester little harbor, I was going to take a few photos of the boats and use some rest facilities. Then we saw this up in the sky. Incredible array of rainbows. I have never seen so many rainbows and some pretty cool light effects in the sky. Nice show of illumination before the storm.

Winter is Coming

It is getting chilly outside, in many places its even snowed, and most leaves are pretty much gone or about to. Another winter is just around the corner. There will be plenty of grey days in the next few months, just like one I had on that specific day. At least that beautiful yellow was something that pleased the eye and provided nice contrast with other naked trees and grey skies.

Anyone to guess where this place is? Even if you never been to this cool town, there are some clues…just saying…

I took this photo about 18 month ago on one of my first visits to Boston. It was cold and snowy, with a lot of cool boats parked for winter and some sailors coming off the water. This fence looked cool and I wanted to remember it many days and month later. Thanks to it, I still do.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. It is going to rain all day here in North Carolina. For all the new visitors, I have almost 400 photos on this site, from different places, explorer it on the right side under categories.

Nor Cal

We are going for a little spring break to San Francisco. Two days around Napa Valley, couple days in the city and then couple days near Big Sur. Anyone have any recommendations for some cool photography around those places? I’m sure we’ll be overwhelmed with what that area has to offer, but if there are some interesting places off beaten pass, we might try to make there too.

Spring Break

Not everyone having one yet, but today my daughter is coming home for couple weeks for a spring break. Yaaay!

Last October I went to see her at her school on the parents weekend and took this photo at the main lawn. Good place to get excellent education (I guess I’d be considered one of the ‘elitist snobs’ according to one of the current presidential hopefuls) and very pretty campus too. I’m not going to say where exactly this place is, only that it is somewhere in Massachusetts.
