Tennessee, Somewhere

Its been almost a month since my last post. Not really felt like posting anything.

This weekend we went for a bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail, if you live in this part of the country then it is something you definitely want to do, good outdoor activity, especially in the fall, when you get to see autumn foliage. Of course be prepared to see hundreds and hundreds of other people, coming seems like in large groups, occupying sometimes entire trail. If you expect to see a quite and serene place during this time of the year, then don’t. As you won’t. I have been to this trail a few times and always wanted to take some photos of the bridges along the trail. This time we stopped at almost each one of them to take a shot. I might even make a short video from it, who knows.

On the way back to NC we drove through Tennessee and since I’m on a quest to get a photo from every state, I stopped to get a shot in this state as well. So here you go, somewhere in Tennessee.

Wife Modeling

I have a few more Fall photos in my archive that I want to post, and admit it, here on the East Coast US we are still in pretty much middle of the Fall. Even though all leaves are gone, trees are naked, but it is about 70F today in Northern Virginia, today is December 4th, mind you.

One day after work back in late October we went for a short walk at Reynolda Gardens, this is the only tree that was in some orange heat at that time. My wife was modeling for me, resting on the bench, good job!

More Autumn Photos

With exception of the Monday Morning Movie photo, the rest of November will be all about Autumn… yes, more photos with some yellow, and more yellow, that is how usually it goes in the Autumn. btw, this was taken in Boston and I can’t come up at the moment with anything to say, just full yellow tree, illuminated by the rising sun…maybe a bit too much illuminated but this is how I like it.

Blue Ridge Autumn

I took three attempts to take this photo. The first two times I was interrupted by incoming sound of the car. One time from the south, another time from the north. Both have the same curve as you see in this photo, so you could not see the car, you hear it first, then it shows up and they drive at least 40+ miles/hour on this mountain road. So I did what any sane person would do, grabbed my tripod and walked off the parkway… of course for some folks me being on the parkway taking photos might not sound as being sane…but hey if not, then you would not be able to see this photo…someone has to do it.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Morning Dew

The grass is full of morning dew. All you have to do is look at it in high resolution to see millions little water bubbles, shining under the morning sun. Just click on it.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!
