A few people commented on these photos, that they resemble Ukrainian flag. I guess right now anything yellow with blue would look like it, perhaps in some abstract way. If these peaceful views of some of the highest places in the world can bring peace to Ukraine, I’m happy that it looks like it and perhaps brings some comfort.

Shows San Juan mountains beautiful and unique colors. Very cool place in Colorado high country.
Mount Sneffels is 14,158ft high, one of the class 3 14ers in Colorado. I have yet to get to the summit of this one. Perhaps next year.
The first photo was taken this October at sunrise. Second photo was taken almost exactly the same day last year at sunset time. Very different.
Taken from Handies Peak, yet another Colorado 14er, which I climbed twice now and might do it again next time in the San Juan Mountains.
Had a chance to enjoy this view a few months ago on a hike in San Juan Mountains. Tippy toeing on some rocks in that creek to get the right angle is always fun part 😎 nothing got wet.
