Temple of Heaven

In the middle of the day this is one of the spots that I could take a picture of it not see any other tourists. It was unbelievably hot day with smoggy air. This picture shows blue sky but it done via some magic of software and combination of different exposures into one. It just looks much better this way.

Under the Hood

Or something like that. Under the temple hood. This is at the Temple of Heaven. Same time as other pictures under this category. Same hot weather. If not for this, we’d seat in hotel room and watch TV, or hang around swimming pool. But how often do you get to visit Temple of Heaven?

Temple Of Heaven, Little Gems

This photo was taken at the same spot as photo in Around Temple of Heaven Park post. You don’t have to be at the most visited areas to find interesting subjects. There is so much color here and so much detail in all of the ornaments and paintings. Someone took their time to make this pagoda super pretty. Click on the image to open it in my photo gallery and see it in better detail. This is HDR made from a single photo.

Around Temple of Heaven Park

Temple of Heaven park is pretty big, and while most tourists, Chinese and foreign congregate at the main attraction, it is worth to explorer other parts of the park as well. You’ll find some interesting architecture and no hordes of people around you.  This is under a pagoda on the west side of the park. Click on the image to see it large with better resolution.
