Mount Sneffels is 14,158ft high, one of the class 3 14ers in Colorado. I have yet to get to the summit of this one. Perhaps next year.
The first photo was taken this October at sunrise. Second photo was taken almost exactly the same day last year at sunset time. Very different.
Taken from Handies Peak, yet another Colorado 14er, which I climbed twice now and might do it again next time in the San Juan Mountains.
Did this climb in early September. Frosty rocks and rising fog make that sunrise a bit more special.

The Three Apostles, Ice Mountain and Lake Ann. View from the Huron Peak.
Lake Ann looks like a nice destination, with probably nice view of the Huron Peak.
I chatted with another hiker while at the summit, he said that doing Three Apostles is good in the winter…
