Friday Mystery Photo

Well, our summer vacation is coming to an end. Today we are driving back to the Salt Lake City and flying back to the east coast. It was fun two weeks and hopefully I’ll be able to share some of the memories via a few photos with you folks as well. It is all coming in the following days, weeks and months.

As of today’s photo, since it is Friday, we do the usual. I post the photo and you tell us where you think it is. I’ll update the status of the post later this weekend with the true location and folks who got it right.

Update: Pretty much everyone, but one person, suggested that it is in New Orleans. It is in fact one of the shops on the river front in Savannah Georgia, and  David got it right. Thanks all for stopping by!

Savannah Alley

Previous photo was from Savannah and I decided to follow up with another photo from there as well. They were taken one year apart on the exact same day. Somehow I happen to be in Savannah, really odd, both times we were taking a break along he coast and Savannah is one of the prime destination, only about 5-6 hours drive from my home.

Friday Mystery Photo

Today might be an easy one as far as where it is located, at least in what city. To make it a bit more difficult I have to ask to actually tell us which one it is, I mean what is the name of it. This exact place in the city.

As always, update will be provided on Saturday or Sunday. Thanks all!

Saturday Update: Some good suggestions, with identifying the correct city, but Lee from Enthusiast Photographer got it perfectly right, it is Lafayette Square in Savannah Georgia. On that specific morning I had bike and pedaled around a few Savannah Squares looking for a shot. See the plate below as well.

Sweets Candy

Snowing in Arizona

Prior to yesterday I have never been to Arizona and always imagined it as super hot place with year around desert type of climate. How wrong. The northern part of Arizona is nothing but not desert during winter season. Today I had one of the most treacherous drives in a long time. On our way to Flagstaff the higher we climbed the more snow was on the ground and the more snow was coming down from above, and the driving was not getting any better, as some moron was driving about 20 cars in front of us with flasher lights on, at about 15-20 mph, I’m sure knowing that 20+ cars are behind him, and didn’t have decency to pull out and let everyone through and not dragging 15 miles of driving to more than 60 minutes of complete annoyance.

Anyway, Flagstaff and northern Arizona is under complete whiteout, totally unexpected for me. New experiences!

River Street Sweets Candy

From cold and snowy to something sweet and tasty. If you ever come to Savannah then make sure to walk by the River Street and explorer many stores and eat some food at a few restaurants. If you are into clubbing, then I believe they even have those as well.
